The new Model One E.P. is here and the release party is at Kryptonite 308 W State St October 28th.  The new EP features 4 new tracks: Homecoming Queen, Something, The Model, The Blush.  Model One's new E.P. was recorded and produced by Duane Lundy at Shangrila Studios in Lexington, KY.  The band will be recording and releasing a new E.P. length record every 3 months for the next year. 

Model One's catchy melodies are charged by a modern rock sound.  Based in Chicago, the band has become a crowd favorite at home and hotspots across the Midwest.  Hooked by their honest lyrics and uninhibited rock and roll, Steve Shannon, morning DJ for 97zok, was "pleasantly surprised by Model One's writing ability."

The bands accomplishments include making the CMJ Top 20 Most Added Chart at #9.  Model One has also reached #168 on the CMJ Top 200 Chart.  You can hear Days and Counting on 200+ CMJ radio stations across the country.  MTV has licensed "Days and Counting" for it's fall programing.
