Join Steven Larsen and the Rockford Symphony Orchestra for an evening of unique Americana music on Saturday, August 11 at 8 p.m.  The RSO will be performing at the beautiful Bengt Sjostrom (Starlight) Theatre at Rock Valley College. 

The RSO welcomes Robin and Linda Williams, who for more than a quarter of a century have delighted audiences with a blend of bluegrass, folk, old-time and acoustic country that truly merits the title of "American music."  Robin and Linda are frequent guests on Garrison Keillor’s “A Prairie Home Companion” and were featured in the recent Robert Altman film by the same name.  This performance with the RSO marks their orchestral debut. 

Robin and Linda are no strangers to Rockford, having performed in venues throughout the city since the 1970s and have been featured artists of Charlotte’s Web for the Performing Arts.
