International Steinway Artist Steve Hall to appear in Rockford
by Press Release

The public is invited to hear International Steinway Artist Steve Hall, renowned inspirational pianist and recording artist, in concert on Sunday, April 22, 2007, at 3 pm. The concert, sponsored by Rockford Area Lutheran Ministries, will be held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 3300 Rural Street, Rockford. Tickets for the concert are $12.50 and may be purchased in advance or at the door.

Perhaps best known for his recording of "On Eagle's Wings," Hall's repertoire includes popular show tunes, standards, classical, romantic, inspirational, patriotic, and country music. Hall has released 31 musical collections, selling more than 1.6 million copies. Hall continues to perform solo in many venues throughout the United States and Canada. His uplifting appeal and familiarity has earned him a loyal following of people from all walks of life and includes many people in the stateline area.

Proceeds from Hall's appearance will benefit the construction of Katie's Cup coffeebar. Katie's Cup, currently under construction in the old Lantow Pharmacy building on the corner of Seventh Street and 4th Avenue in Rockford, is designed as a community gathering place for conversation, coffee, books, and entertainment. It is a collaborative revitalization project sponsored by ZION Development Corporation and Rockford Area Lutheran Ministries.
