Pec Playhouse Theatre Announces Auditions for Summer Musical - Godspell

Pec Playhouse Theatre will be holding open auditions for the John-Michael Tebelak/Steven Swartz musical Godspell on April 28, 29 and May 1, 2008 beginning at 7 p.m.  The playhouse is located at 314 Main St., Pecatonica, Il 61063.

Parts are available for four males and five females between the ages of 16-70.  All parts are open with the exception of Jeffery.  Actors should be prepared to sing a song from the show (preferably a song other than Day by Day) and wear comfortable clothes for the dance audition.  During the audition, actors will be given an excerpt from the script to read and also be asked to do an improvisation piece.

Performances are scheduled for July 11-13, 18-20 and 25-27, 2008 with Friday and Saturday night performances at 8 p.m. and matinees on Saturdays and Sunday afternoons at 2 p.m.   Rehearsals run Sundays through Thursdays from 7 p.m. to 9 :30 p.m.

Director is Michael Dice.  Musical Director is Paula Svendsen and choreographer is Ed Stiltner.
