Follow That Jazz Combines Music, Dance & Vocal Performance

The Without Shoes Modern Dance Company presents “Follow That Jazz,” a multi-disciplinary performance that explores the uniquely American art form of jazz at its annual spring performance at 7 pm, Friday, May 2, at Maddox Theatre on the Rockford College campus.

The performance will explore the history and characteristics of jazz music and dance and will feature live music by a jazz combo, dance performances by members of the Without Shoes Modern Dance Co., and vocal performances by several guest artists.

Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. Student tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the  door. Advance tickets are available at Movable Feast and Wonderland Books and Toys, both located in the Edgebrook Shopping Center, 1639 North Alpine Road in Rockford.
