The Rockford Symphony Orchestra is delighted to announce its plans for the annual Black Magic Ball, which returns again this year to Downtown Rockford and the Coronado Theatre. This special event is scheduled for Saturday, November 3, 2007 and is chaired by Steve and Mary Martin.
Black Magic Ball is an annual benefit supporting the performances and many education programs of the RSO, including the Rockford Symphony Youth Orchestra, Symphony Goes to School, RSO Woodwind Quintet, and Youth Concerts. These programs bring music education and outreach to more than 30,000 children each year.
The Rockford Symphony Orchestra continues to offer one of Rockford’s preeminent events of the social season. Year after year, the Black Magic Ball brings together our area’s top professionals, individuals, business leaders, and government officials for an unforgettable evening of dining, dancing, and entertainment.
This year, we bring Black Magic back inside the beautiful Coronado Theatre for a traditional evening featuring cocktails in the lobbies and an elegant sit-down dinner on the stage. The night features a silent and live auction with high-end wines from some of the finest vineyards as well as fun and exciting experience packages. Guests will enjoy a dance demonstration from Rockford’s own Jill and Doug Beardsley, then dance the night away to the music of The Late Nite Band from Chicago.
The RSO wishes to thank Rockford Health System and a generous Friend of the Symphony for their gracious support.
Reservations are due by Friday, October 26. RSVP by calling 815-965-0049. Tickets are $250 per person. |
