The Parks New Generation Jaycees, Rockford Area Jaycees and Cherry Valley Jaycees are seeking help from the community to provide clothing, toys, hygiene products and food for the families of the flood. Items also in need are diapers and wet wipes. If you are interested in helping by donating any of the above items or would like to help organize care packages to be delivered to the families please contact Melissa-Chapter Advisor Parks New Generation Jaycees at 815-968-0289. There is 2 drop off locations at 2415 Kilburn Avenue and the contact information is Angela at 815-721-7243 and the other drop off location is 717 S. 4th Street. Any families seeing this please feel free to call if help is needed. We will also be having volunteers in the flood zone Friday, Monday and Tuesday if help is needed with cleaning and hauling to the curb.
