2008 Youth Charity Jam Rocks the ELB and RAMIs

Come see some great music by young musicians in the area at the Youth Charity Jam audition on Friday February 22nd at 7pm at the ELB located at 920 3rd Avenue, Rockford, in Emmanuel Lutheran Church.  The winners will go on to compete for a $250.00 First Prize in the Youth Charity Jam to be held on March 28th at the Tebala Shrine Temple.

Come out an cheer on these bands: Groove Company, Just Maybe, Hope Despite, The Silent Debut, The Son  The Anchor, Fall Asleep Sober, and Imaginary Heroes.

The Youth Charity Jam is planned and worked by the youth from “In Youth We Trust” facilitated by the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois.  This gives young adults through out the region an opportunity to become involved in their community as well as providing young musicians with an occasion to play in front of a large audience in a professional setting while supporting charity.

Proceeds from this event will be applied to the Gary S. Wilmer Memorial Scholarship Fund, administered by the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois.  Donations can be sent to the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois, 946 N. Second Street, Rockford, IL  61107.  Your check should be made out to the CFNI/RAMI.
