You are invited to come and hear this group of talented student performers sing and dance their way through some of Broadways most popular tunes. Broadway Bound will be performing songs from HAIRSPRAY, GREASE, RAGTIME, AIDA and many others. These student performers were accepted to perform by audition and are from Boylan, Guilford, Hononegah, Auburn, Belvidere, Harlem, Keith and North Boone.
Spend an inexpensive evening with this exciting ensemble on Thursday May 3rd or Friday May 4th at 7:00p.m. at Mendelssohn Performing Arts Center in the Emerson Auditorium. The cost is $5.00 per person and tickets will be sold at the door. (Seating is limited)
About the Ensemble&
Broadway Bound is a youth performing ensemble of the Mendelssohn Performing Arts Center. The group offers students an opportunity to sing a wide variety of musical selections from Pop to Show Tunes. By audition, students ages 14 to 18 perform with choreography and costumes. Broadway Bound is under the musical direction of Alan Stevens and choreographer Jennifer Gerczak.
