Feel the Love Deep in Your Soul with the Sounds of Too Deep.

It's all about soul. That's the only way to describe Too Deep. From the very first note they play, Too Deep shows their passion for their music and their love of soul.

Too Deep has been on the local music scene for the past 14 years. They are one of the few R&B style bands in the area. The group has played some of the showcase festivals in the area such as On The Waterfront, First Night Rockford, Groove Walk, the Culture Ethnic Festival and Beloit Riverfest in addition to various night clubs in the area. Too Deep has had the pleasure of opening for a number of national acts that include The Gap Band, The Ohio Players and Gladys Knight. They have been nominated several times for the Rockford Area Music Industry awards and have taken home the RAMI for the R&B/Funk category four times.

Too Deep plays a variety of classic to modern R&B style hits with a mix of original compositions. Whether they are playing to a packed house or a small group of people, Too Deep plays each performance with an emotion and style that rivals many of the artists that they cover. The band has a tight sound with a great rhythm section provided by the talent of Steve Hanserd on bass and Mike Rosencrance on drums that can groove an addictive danceable beat. Add to that the great sounds of Cedric Hanserd guitar and Brian Hanserd on keyboards and you have a group with an incredible full rich sound that reaches into the soul of the music they play. Steve, Brian and Cedric combine their vocal talents into a naturally smooth three-part harmony that is reminiscent of the great Motown groups of the sixties and seventies. Their mix of soulful R&B songs is guaranteed to get the crowd onto the dance floor.

So what is happening in the future for Too Deep? They will be playing at Beloit Riverfest on the River Center Stage Friday July 11th from 5pm to 7pm. The band has two CDs available and is planning on working on a new CD towards the end of this year once they are finished with working on a project with a local gospel group.

So if you love the soulful sound of great R&B music, you must experience the sounds of Too Deep.
