The Rockford Symphony Orchestra and the Rockford Dance Company are once again collaborating to present Rockford’s 20th production of The Nutcracker Ballet at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 24, 2007 – Thanksgiving Weekend - at the Coronado Theatre. 

Live music from the Rockford Symphony Orchestra, colorful sets, and dazzling costumes make this the premier production in Northern Illinois and a wonderful way to celebrate the start of the holiday season.  This year’s performance features professional lead dancers including Rockford native April Daly of the Joffrey Ballet and Mauro Villanueva also of the Joffrey Ballet, and returning guests Markus Schaffer and Yumelia Garcia both of Ballet Florida.  The performance also features surprise celebrity guests from the Rockford area.
