Enjoy the Harvest Season at Midway Village & Museum Center

Midway Village & Museum Center presents its annual Scarecrow Harvest Festival on October 6 & 7 from Noon to 5pm. Admission is $6 for adults; $4 for children and students (3 to 17). Members are always free!
Visitors can:
• Use free straw to make and take a scarecrow
• Bring clothing from home
• Purchase scarecrow clothes from a limited supply on site.
New this year:
• Vintage tractors on display and farm equipment demonstrations
• Author Carrie Meyer will be available Saturday only for a presentation on the Lyford family farm history and to sign her newly published book “Days on the Family Farm – From the Golden Age through the Great Depression”.
There will be lots of fun Fall activities for the entire family:
• Traditional harvest crafts and activities
• Old-fashioned games
• Wagon rides around the Village
Food and Fall treats are available in Burritt’s Town Hall Cafe.
Admission cost: $6 adults; $4 students and children (3 to 17). Members are always free. Admission also includes visiting the Museum Center, the Museum Store, the Old Dolls’ House Museum, and Millhouse on Lake Severin.
