The 10th Inning Bar & Grill - Food, fun and Atmosphere Equals a Home Run

The baseball theme at The 10th Inning is obvious, from the name of the place to the Wrigleyville and Chicago Cubs decorations to the names of the item categories on the menu. If you jump to the conclusion though that only baseball fans will appreciate it, you are missing the full picture. Indeed, with the sharp futuristic metallic décor and clean lines, and DJ's spinning the tunes, The 10th Inning can hold its own next to the best dance clubs. They also feature live bands at least once a month, and have pool tables for your enjoyment. All of these combine to make The 10th Inning one of Rockford's best clubs - and one that appeals to even those who don't enjoy America's favorite pass time.

The club has been open since Saint Patrick's day, and is located at 5825 East Riverside Blvd. - that's the former home of Hard Hat. Majority owner Chuck Fairgrieves and minority owner/manager J. B. Bevan have created a place that is a great stop for lunch or to hang out after work or on the weekends with your friends. Their kitchen is open daily from 11 AM to 10 PM, but they also have a late night menu that's available 'til midnight. You can find such tempting taste treats as bruschetta, po' boys (grilled chicken breast, port tenderloin, shrimp, steak and more), burgers (half pound beef variety or portabella mushroom), hot dogs, salads, seafood, nachos, crab cakes and much more.

If the food, drinks and atmosphere aren't enough to coax you into their ballpark, they provide a full schedule of entertainment. From live bands (Agnus Jackson is first on their schedule on June 3rd) to Full Tilt Poker on Monday nights and Karaoke by Jam Fest Productions on Thursdays, they have enough to hold just about anyone's interest. With a lineup like that, it seems likely that they are going to be sure contenders in every season. Stop in and check them out or give them a call at 282-1222 for more information. They are aiming to hit this one way out of the park and outscore all the competition.
