What's the best thing you can expect from a new CD release? In today's world of cookie cutter pop songs and replayed rhythms, it's hard to find a CD release that can capture your attention or your imagination. Nicholas Gunn's "Breathe" far surpasses any moderate expectations you may have for many of today's musical artists.

From the hauntingly delicate melodies of "Embrace" to the upbeat Latin rhythms of the title track "Breathe", Nicholas Gunn takes you on a journey that weaves a musical canvass of intertwined world rhythms and melodic interludes. This is one of those CD's that you can sit back and lose yourself in the music. Music is meant to encourage an emotional response and Nicholas Gunn has done just that with this compilation of instrumental compositions.

"Breathe" is composed of eleven instrumental tracks. Flutes, hand percussion, piano, various key and vocal arrangements are performed by Nicholas Gunn. Two guest artists accompany him, John Bishoff on acoustic guitar and Rachel Handlin on violin. All the tracks on the CD were composed, arranged, recorded and produced by Nicholas Gunn.

Nicholas Gunn has partnered with the American Lung Association in celebration of their 100th anniversary. Ten percent of proceeds from the sale of "Breathe" will be donated to help support and promote healthy living.

A roaring fire, a good bottle of wine, a special someone and Nicholas Gunn's "Breathe" makes for the perfect evening on a cold winter's night. Let the music and your imagination take you away.
