A light mist covers the ground. The shadows dance in the dark as you walk through the trees. You know he's out there waiting; waiting for you. It gets suddenly quiet. A chill runs down your spine. A twig snaps. You turn in the direction of the noise. It's, it's - the last thing you will ever see. 

The 2005 Trail of Screams at Camp Winnebago opens October 7th with a variety of events to captivate the most avid Halloween fans.

"Get your prescription for fear in the Toxic Asylum Hospital in 3D where the doctor is dying to meet you."

"Are you afraid of clowns? You will be in Frightmare 3D."

"Total darkness! Total fear! Can you escape from the Prison of the Dead?"

Frightfest 2005, October 14th and 15th, will rock to the bone with several local and regional bands.

October 15th is "Kids Day" featuring games, face painting, crafts, refreshments, and trick or treating in a non-scary atmosphere.

The 2005 Trail of Screams is open weekdays and Sundays 7pm to 11pm.  Fridays, Saturdays and Halloween (Monday the 31st) from 7pm to Midnight. Tickets are $10.00.
