This heart-warming comedy deals with the trials of Rudy Pazinski, a 10 year-old boy growing up in 1950's Buffalo.  Young Rudy has driven his teacher, Sister Clarissa, to a minor heart attack with his questions about the universe and his constant imitations of Ed Sullivan.  His teenage sister is a ball of nerves as she learns about dealing with boys, his older brother is a misguided bully and his father has a hair- trigger temper that sets off his long-suffering mother.

Alice in Wonderland

By Lewis Carroll

Opens November 25th, runs through December 30th
Student matinees available

This adaptation of the Lewis Carroll classic comes with all the fantasy and silliness for which it is famous.  Follow Alice as she chases a white rabbit down a whole and suddenly finds herself in a word full of fantastic tea parties, Cheshire Cats, round faced twins, talking flowers, cookies that change her size, and a Red Queen that wants to chop off her head!

A Midsummer Nights Dream

By William Shakespeare

Opens February 3, runs through February 26

(Recommended for middle school and older)

Student matinees available

This loopy comedy is one of Shakespeare's best!  Two sets of lovers escape into the woods on a summer's night to pursue their love, only to fall under the spell of a mischievous fairy named Puck.  Elsewhere in the woods, a group of tradesmen are rehearsing a play, and get a visit from Puck who turns the head of one of their company into the head of an ass.  By the end, all the mischief has been corrected, and the tradesmen put on a truly ridiculous play for the lovers who are blessed by the spirits.  Filled with wonder and joy, this play deals with the transformative power of love and proves that love "doth make fools of us all.
