"Curtain Up!" - Rockford Arts and Entertainment 2012-2013 Season Kickoff Event

The Rockford arts community is pleased to present the third annual “Curtain Up!” a kickoff event for Rockford’s arts and entertainment organizations’ 2012-2013 season. The event will take place on Sunday, September 16 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Greenwich Village Art Fair held on the Rockford Art Museum grounds. Admission is $3 in advance/$5 at the gate.
At “Curtain Up!” the Rockford community can discover all that their local arts and entertainment organizations have to offer for the 2012-2013 season. Attendees can talk to representatives from the various organizations and purchase season subscriptions and single tickets.
Presenting organizations include AgeQuake Theatre, Artists’ Ensemble Theater, Charlotte’s Web for the Performing Arts, Kantorei, the Singing Boys of Rockford, Mendelssohn Performing Arts Center, The Music Academy, Riverfront Museum Park, Rock Valley College Starlight Theatre, Rockford Area Arts Council, Rockford Art Museum, Rockford Coronado Concert Association, Rockford Dance Company, Rockford Symphony Orchestra, Rockford Wind Ensemble, and Second City Chorus.
