Main Street Players of Boone County Presents Bleacher Bums through May 22

“Bleacher Bums”
Date: May 13-15 & 20-22, 2011
Times: Fridays and Saturdays, 7pm, Sundays, 2pm
Location: Community Building Complex of Boone County

Synopsis: In the bleachers of Chicago’s Wrigley Field, die hard Cub fans root for their team. The group includes a rabid cheerleader, a blind man who follows the game by transistor radio and does his own play by play, a bathing beauty, a nerd and various other bleacher denizens. It all comes down to the 9th inning. Will the Cubs win or will they fold once again? If they lose, Marvin will clean up. The bleacher bums remain undaunted; they will be back tomorrow, to root for the home team.
