NFL Flag Football Rockford Championships Saturday

The 2010 NFL Flag Championship Night is scheduled for Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Rockford Park District's Sportscore Two Wedgbury Stadium, 8800 E. Riverside Blvd., Loves Park. Players are from the Park District's youth NFL Flag Football program, and participants from the Park District's NFL Cheer program will perform at the event. Games are scheduled as follows:
• 7:00 p.m., Colts vs. Falcons (ages 5-8)
• 8:00 p.m., Bengals vs. Broncos (ages 9-11)
• 9:00 p.m., Colts vs. Browns (ages 12-14)
Spectators are invited to attend the games free of charge. Parents interested in learning more about the flag football or cheerleading programs are encouraged to attend; program registration information will be available. More information is available online at the Park District web site, www.rockfordparkdistrict.org, in the new Fall 2010 Youth/Adult Sports Guide (also downloadable from the District's web site), or by calling the youth sports office at 815-962-7469 or Customer Service at 815-987-8800, where information on support and programs for people with disabilities is also available.
