Bailé Initiative for Hispanic Children

Rockford Dance Company has scholarships available for beginning ballet class for Hispanic Children between the ages of 6 and 12. 31 classes will be held within our regular school programming starting September 10 and will run through May 13. Participants will perform in the school performance on May 14. Rockford Dance Company will be accepting 40 children into this program. Applications and program requirements are available in our office, located at the Riverfront Museum Park, 711 N. Main Street, or on our web site, rockforddancecompany.com on the school page. Application need to be returned to RDC’s office by 5:00 on August 12 or have a postmark no later than August 12th.
Rockford Dance Company and Supplycore, Inc are sponsoring this program to introduce children to the benefits of ballet. Ballet is a well structured dance form that includes discipline, self awareness and the building of self esteem through individual accomplishment. This free program is set up to serve those who are financially disadvantaged.
