Emily Hurd: Daytime Fireflies Album Release Show

by Press Release

You could say that Emily Hurd's 6th album is more than a little risky.  The Rockford native has been honing her sound for the past several years and has become renowned across the midwest for her indie-soul spin on the singer/songwriter genre.  In her latest release, "Daytime Fireflies," the vocal dynamo takes a daring leap from her traditional sound while maintaining her keen ability to tap into matters of the soul and then express them candidly. Hurd's pianistic punch, vintage grooves, stunning arrangements, and memorable melodies come blaring through in this chamber pop album. She is joined at this show by Jordan McDonald, Aaron Biby, Ben Tuula, and Jillian Hicks.  Brent and Damion from Mana Kintorso to open.
