The Beet Out to Eat: Up 'N' Adam Cafe

The Up ‘N’ Adam Café is just what you are looking for if you want a good meal at a decent price.  The menu has a variety of what I would call classic café type foods.  For breakfast they have eggs, omelets, pancakes, a good selection of breakfast meats, skillets and more.  The lunch and dinner menu has burgers, salads and a variety of dinners; from steaks, to Italian dishes to seafood plus much more.  It is a good selection in which everyone should be able to find a favorite dish to try.

Four of us tried Up ‘N’ Adam on Friday night.  For three of us, the Seafood buffet at $8.95 was not to be passed up.  The buffet had a salad bar, fried cod, baked cod, fried walleye, shrimp, spaghetti, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables; with some more entrees that I just can’t remember.  I should have taken my notebook with me but I just wanted to dive in and try the cod.  The baked cod was wonderful.  It was tender and juicy.  The fried cod was also very good and was not overly greasy which can happen with fried fish.  One of our group tried the Veal Parmesan which came in a good sized portion which filled the plate.  One thing that was noted by a member of our group was the soup; tomato rice which all of us sampled and found very tasty.  The four of us ate for just around $45.00 and we all left filled and satisfied.

The consensus of our group is that our dinner at the Up ‘N’ Adam café was a pleasant experience and we would all go back there again.
