Music on Main Special Event - Brasil Guitar Duo

The Mendelssohn Performing Arts Center is pleased to announce that a special Music on Main event will take place on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 with a performance by the Brasil Guitar Duo. The performance will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the historic Emerson House. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for students. MPAC will also collect non-perishable food items for the Rock River Valley Pantry.
The Brasil Guitar Duo, winner of the 2006 Concert Artists Guild National Competition, are equally at home playing classical or world music from Bach to the samba. Their innovative programming features a seamless blend of traditional and Brazilian works, resulting in a full global touring schedule and numerous critically acclaimed recordings.
The Music on Main concert series consists of brief, intimate musical performances in a casual atmosphere.
