Call for Artists - The Doors of Rockford Art Show and Auction:

The ZION Development Corporation is looking for Artists' to submit work for the annual Doors of Rockford Art Show and Auction. Applications are due by March 26th with the artwork due by June 18th.

Criteria for Submission:
Entries must be 2-dimensional works of art, any medium except photography, reflecting the Rockford area and in keeping with the theme of “Through These Doors”. We encourage the inclusion of a door, real or metaphorical in your submission.
Entries must be 36” by 48” or smaller. No entry fee.
Limit of one entry per artist. ZION will accept all initial submissions.
Submissions will be juried in June to identify 25 works to be auctioned at this year’s Art Show.
On each of the 25 selected works of art, the artist will be paid 75% of the auction price, but not less than $262.50.
In addition, there will be cash prizes and awards: $750 for the Award of Excellence winner and $250 for the People’s Choice Award winner.
Submission gives exclusive reproduction rights to ZION Development. Winning entries will be featured on note cards, posters and other media for sale to benefit ZION.

ARTWORK DEADLINE: Artwork must be submitted by Friday, June 18, 2010
