RSO’s Allegro League Hosts Luncheon with Gerard McBurney of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra

The Rockford Symphony Orchestra’s auxiliary, The Allegro League, announces a luncheon featuring Gerard McBurney, artistic programming advisor for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and creative director of the award winning series Beyond the Score®. The Allegro League luncheon will be held at noon on Friday, January 29 at Forest Hills Country Club, 5135 Forest Hills Rd. in Rockford.
The CSO’s highly successful multimedia series Beyond the Score® reveals the story behind great works of music with live dramatized commentary and audiovisual illustrations. McBurney will give a lively and entertaining presentation about this groundbreaking series and how it has encouraged audiences to delve deeper into the world of classical music.
The cost for the luncheon is $35 per person or $30 for Allegro League members. Seating is limited and reservations for the luncheon may be made by calling the RSO office at 815.965.0049 by Monday, January 25.
