The Rockton Chamber of Commerce is preparing for its annual Christmas Walk Weekend December 4th-6th, 2009.  This traditional event features the Lighting of Village Green Park on Friday when Santa arrives in town, the historical Lighted Parade on Saturday and the 2nd Annual Stateline’s Got Talent show on Sunday.  Many businesses also host events, so the weekend will be packed full of family-friendly fun for everyone!

Registration for The Stateline’s Got Talent show will be open from October 26th through November 20th.  Space is limited and talents are accepted on a first-come first-serve basis.  The cost is $10 per person to enter.  Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 participants and the audience favorite; the first place winner will receive $150, a professionally produced audition tape from WREX Channel 13 that will be submitted to America’s Got Talent, and a trophy.  Tickets to the show will also be available from October 26th through November 20th at a discounted rate of $3.  They will be $5 at the show the day of the event.  Children 12 and under are free.  Discount tickets can be purchased at the following locations:
