Hiking For Hounds

On Sunday, October 18 bring your canine companions to a fall walk in the woods at beautiful Klehm Arboretum. Join us for Hiking for Hounds –a benefit dog walk to support Kibble Korner.
Kibble Korner is a food pantry for Winnebago County’s pets and their families. Their mission is to keep area pets fed and in the homes they know and love.
 
12pm – Dog Walk registration opens. Participating dogs receive goody bags. 

1pm - Dog Walk begins. The course is around Klehm grounds on a .6 mile paved trail.

2pm – Dog Costume Contest. Celebrity dogs and their owners will judge contestants in these categories: spookiest costume, most whimsical costume and most original costume.
Enjoy a special Klehm admission price all day. Cost is $5 per adult, $5 per dog, $3 per child under 18, and all humans under 3 are free! Klehm members are free. All activities are included at no additional fee. Arboretum hours are 9am – 4pm.
Participating dogs must be leashed and have proof of current registration and vaccination. Donations of pet food are welcomed.
