Magic Waters Launches Weather-Related Discounts
by Press Release
The weather this summer may be unpredictable, but Rockford Park District’s Magic Waters Waterpark is encouraging area residents not to let the weather stop them from coming out to the waterpark. Today, Magic Waters launched their “Wave is Up – Price is Down” web site promotion which offers a 50% admission discount on days when there is rain or colder weather.
“If the forecast calls for periods of rain or colder temperatures, we are finding that people are hesitant to make plans to visit our waterpark. In order to make it more affordable for guests to come out to the park during these ‘non-perfect’ summer days, we will be offering a 50% discount on admission,” said Jessica Steinberg, Director of Magic Waters and Aquatics.
How It Works
To take advantage of this offer, guests are invited to check the park’s web site daily at www.magicwaterswaterpark.com and look for the ‘Wave is Up’ graphic, which will indicate if a weather-related discount is offered on that day. The discount will be offered on tickets purchased at the gate.
