Rhythm Moves Festival started as a class project with a group of students. This has now snowballed into a community event. The eleven students came together to create a festival that will educate and give finical support to three local charities. Ie: Rockford Rescue Mission, Shelter Care Ministries, and Rock House Kids.  In addition, offering the community an experience of good food, great music and let them know they are helping the community. 

Rhythm Moves Festival will be Saturday, May 9, 2009 at the Venetian Club, 2180 Elmwood, Rockford, IL. From 4-11 p.m. with the doors opening at 3:30 p.m. Advance tickets sales available via website at www.RhythmMovesFestival.com  $10 advance tickets, $15 day of event. 

There will be five live local and regional musical acts featuring Matthew Schoening headlining. Other band include T-Roy, Chris Eldrige, Silver (Rockford 2008 Rammi Winner), and Down Time.
