Concerts for Charity and Toys for Tots present the Catfish John Memorial Music Festival, a benefit to provide student sized guitars and music instruction to needy children and schools in the Rockford area.

The two day Bluegrass, Folk, and Jam music festival will be held at Lyran Park, 4781 S. Bend Rd., Rockford, IL.  The festival was created in memory of "Catfish" John Pritchett.  "Catfish" John was a 2000 RAMI Hall of Fame inductee after he won the Acoustic Singer/Songwriter category five years in row.  Upon his passing, the Catfish John Memorial Fund was established to raise money for purpose of advancing live music throughout the Rockford area and teaching new generations of children to play guitar.  John had a love for Bluegrass and Folk music which is the theme of the festival.

Lyran Park is located on the beautiful Kishwaukee River in Northern Illinois. Camping, swimming & dancing to loads of great live music on 2 stages with late night music in the pavillion. The band line up and schedule subject to change. many other performers to be announced!
