Welcome to "On the Beet" Beetcafe.com's first podcast.  "On the Beet" will be a weekly feature covering things to do in the Rockford and surrounding area.  We will be talking about local events, playing music from local artists, spotlighting local attractions and what ever we can think of to do.

Highlights from our first weeks show:

We will play some music from Larry Lane, The Last Vegas, Getaway Rickshaw, and Kevin Wood.  There is a concert announcement that we found out about this week from one of our writers.

I learned that I can't say "The Last Vegas" without trying to say "The Las Vegas."  I promise to take lessons on how to talk coherently in the near future, then again maybe a beer or two would work (or a nice Merlot?).
