8lbs of Pressure is a sketch comedy show that is conceived, directed, and performed by several students in the Rockford College community.  It's pretty funny.  That is if it doesn't take much to make you to laugh.  But seriously, it's only 3 cents or a donation for two hours of brilliant, family-friendly comedy.  So, bring your kids, grandparents, and pets and be ready to laugh your face off!

The Three Penny Theatre program provides Performing Arts majors with the opportunity to be in complete control of their production, whether it be as director, actor, dancer, musician, or playwright. All Three Penny Theatre productions are totally student produced, are an integral part of the training and academic mission of the department as well as an important part of our production season.
