Mendelssohn Performing Arts Center is pleased to present the Broadway Bound youth vocal ensemble in their spring performance, Masquerade.   The performance will be held Saturday, May 30th, and Sunday, May 31st, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in Rockford College’s Maddox Theater.  Adult tickets are $5; admission is free for children twelve and under. 

Broadway Bound, a lively and energetic vocal ensemble for students aged 13 – 18, performs a variety of Broadway and Pop music favorites, with costumes and choreography, in shows throughout the community, under the direction of musical director Denise Laaveg and choreographer Jennifer Gerczak.  

This year marks the beginning of a partnership between the Mendelssohn Center’s Broadway Bound program and Rockford College.  Masquerade will be the second Broadway Bound performance held in the college’s Maddox Theater.
